This website is a static site (no user accounts, no newsletter, no web analytics, no embedded tracking cookies). No cookies are set for analytics or marketing purposes.

Hosting

The site is delivered via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, time, requested resource, user agent) to serve the page and ensure security.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, performant delivery). Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; Standard Contractual Clauses may also apply.

Contact by email / phone

If you contact us, we process the data you provide to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Retention: for as long as the matter requires; statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

No cookies (website)

We do not use a cookie banner, because this website does not use non-essential cookies. CDN session/security mechanisms may occur for technical reasons; they are not used by us to analyse your browsing behaviour.

Fonts

Fonts are served from this website itself (no Google Fonts CDN).

Social media (Facebook & Instagram)

We maintain online presences on the platforms Facebook and Instagram (both operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland) to share updates about the Rosenmontagszug and club activities and to interact with community members.

  • No social plugins on this website: Our website does not embed social plugins (such as “Like” or “Share” buttons) or tracking pixels. Merely visiting our website transmits no personal data to Meta.
  • External links: Only when you click an external link to our Facebook or Instagram page do you leave our site and get redirected to the respective platform, where Meta’s privacy policies and terms apply.
  • Joint controllership & Page Insights (Art. 26 GDPR): When you visit our Facebook or Instagram profile, Meta processes personal data, including the generation of anonymised statistical metrics (“Page Insights”). For this data processing, a joint controller agreement pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR exists with Meta. External maps (Google Maps)

On the parade-route page we offer a link that opens the route in Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC). Data is sent to Google only when you click; Google’s privacy notices then apply. No Google Maps map is embedded on our website.

Photos of events (KUG)

Photos from the Rosenmontagszug and club events may show people as part of a public gathering (§ 23(1) no. 3 KunstUrhG). Publication takes place in the context of club reporting. Objections to [email protected] — we will review and remove affected images where reasonable and legally required.

Under the GDPR you have, in particular, rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in North Rhine-Westphalia: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen).
